glad you are home now! It only snowed 1,000 times while you were in the warm ocean climate! One of most favorite places on earth is The Abacos. I hope you loved the Caribbean as much as we do.
Dianne, we really, really want to get to The Abacos! Let’s schedule our next neighborhood potluck there 🙂 Thank goodness for Keegan taking care of our snow shoveling for us. The French couple who stayed in our home while we were gone were delightful people!
Just come back from my first visit to the Caribbean and the island of St Kitts. It’s got me longing for more! And I saw so many lovely souvenirs and gifts from their hot sauce to some beautiful paintings. And rum, let’s not forget the rum.
Oh Kathryn, that sounds wonderful! We only spent one day in St. Kitt’s on a scuba diving excursion. The couple we met on the dive boat said they vacation there as often as possible. Sounds like we need to spend some quality time on St. Kitt’s! Glad your experience was so memorable 🙂 Funny thing is we rarely drink rum at home, but it is THE BEST in the Caribbean!

Hello Beggin! We enjoyed meeting you and spending time with you as we learned about your lovely home island! You are such a fantastic guide and we can’t wait to learn more later about your career in St. Lucia. We are now on our 9th evening of sailing and have arrived in Grenada at Carriacou. Tomorrow we sail about 4 hours to St. George’s then we’ll have more time for shopping for the gifts!
